Anyone stayed at La Playa recently in Naples?
 

We are planning a trip over Thanksgiving and would like some advice. Are the rooms dated, and what about the pool area, is it nice? I assume the beach is beautiful from all I have read. Also, where would be a good place for a great dinner? Thanks!

Are you referring to Naples Italy (you need the Europe board) or Naples FL? Helps others if you specify...

Sorry, I was actually referring to Naples, FL. Thanks! Just wondered about the pool area and beach. Couldn't find any reference here, and another board contained some negative comments re: pool. Thanks!

I was there in March of this year with family members who belong to the beach club. The pool and beach are lovely - if sometimes a bit crowded. There are tent-like cabanas by the pool (awning on top with billowy sides that are usually tied up). We get one when we spend the day at the pool.
