Anyone ready for a mini vacation?
 

Is anyone ready for a mini vacation? I am. I want to hop down to Florida on a short flight and veg out on the beach for a weekend.

I live in FLA....it's not that great right now. The highs here in the greater Ft Lauderdale area have only been in the low to mid 60's the past few days. How about the Caribbean?

Lenore, I am not talking about right this minute. The weather is supposed to warm up this weekend. The Caribbean is too expensive for a weekend hop. I can fly to South Florida for around $100 and the caribbean would be 3 times that.

Have to wait a few weeks, but..... Palm Desert, Bob Hope Classic, watch tournament in the am, play in the pm, dinner on the patio at the 11th green of PGA West's Stadium Course, cards and conversation with dad and brothers til bed time. Then wake up and do it all over again for four straight days.<BR><BR>For some of us, it doesn't get much better.

i sure am, sitting here in my stuffy office and it doesn't help to keep getting faxes coming in with all these great deals right now. its tempting but i can't afford it now. hopefully next winter.

I'm going on a weekend ski trip to Lake Tahoe on Friday until Sunday....anybody else going away?
