Anyone Needing Lodging In Newport, RI This Weekend?
 

Hi everyone, I hope I'm not breaking any Fodors rules or offending anyone with this post. Basically, we have a room reserved in Newport, RI this Saturday and Sunday night. Unfortunately, one person in our party is very sick, so we're thinking about cancelling and just losing the money. However, the inn says if we have someone who can take the reservation, we can get our money back. I've asked friends, family, etc., but this isn't something I'd post just on any message board. However, I thought I'd ask fellow Fodorites in case anyone is planning a last-minute getaway (or needs incentive to plan one!)

The room is $220 per night (queen bed plus small sofa bed) and it also includes one parking space at the inn (I'll go into more detail about the inn if anyone is interested.) If this might work for you, I'd so appreciate talking further about it. If not, I'll just my fingers crossed that my family member starts feeling better! Thanks!
