Anyone know the date of the Flower Show in NYC?

I've looked online and can't find any info on the flower show and wondered if anyone might know the dates of the flower show. Is it still at the ship terminal?

If you are coming to NYC the flower show is a fun day with beautiful displays of plants, flowers and gardens.

Thanks for your help.

Are you asking about the Macy's Flower Show? I thought is was going on next week?

The Macy's Flower Show (in Herald Square) is April 9-April 23. Is that what you are looking for?

Perhaps the original poster is referring to the amazing flower show (almost exclusively orchids) at Rockefeller Center? April 20-23, 2006

Last year I believe the cost was only $5.

There used to be a separate flower show on one of the piers, just as described, different from Macy's in-store show and the NY Orchid specific show. Sorry, I don't know . . .

Thanks for the replies, yes I am talking about the show at the piers not at Macy's, and yes the Macy's show starts next week. I walked by yesterday and they are working on the widows right now. The Macy's show is always beautiful, but the one I am referring to is done by a garden "club" and was always spectacular, and I cant' find any info on it this year.

There is a huge flower show in Philly and Boston each year and the one in New York was almost as nice, smaller but nicely done, with lots of exhibits.

If anyone hears any info on it please let me know.

Just googled this:

The Scent of Spring, Flower Show Hints of Winter's End
Published: March 5, 1988

Michael D'Esposito surveying his work yesterday as he put the final touches on a section of a topiary.

The topiary will be on display with flowers and plants at the New York Flower Show at Pier 90 at the foot of West 50th Street. The show begins today and runs through March 13. (The New York Times/Dith Pran)

Just found this on a random website "Unfortunately, due to lack of funds, there is no longer a New York Flower Show."
