Anyone Know Days Inn/Hotel Circle

Have booked three nights with Zoo Tickets included for 326.00. I have an infant son.
Is this a safe area?
Is it next to the freeway/noisy?
Is it clean?
Is the pool area as serene as the website makes it look?
Did I get a good deal?

Thank you all.
Jenni

I've stayed at the Days Inn and frankly was disappointed in the place. (By the way, I normally don't have a problem with Days Inn.) It was clean enough, but very basic and nothing to get at all excited about. It is right by the highway, but I don't remember noise being a problem. I never used the pool, so I can't comment on it. The restaurant is tiny and not at all impressive. Hotel Circle is a safe area and I really wouldn't be worried about staying in any hotel there safety wise. You'll need a car at this location as the only things within walking distance are similar properties.

If you can, I would suggest that you check out the Town and Country Resort. They have a web site at www.towncountry.com. I've stayed there several times and they have comparable priced zoo packages (called Great Escape Getaways). This hotel is set on 50 acres, has 4 pools, 5 restaurants, 3 lounges, a spa and best of all if you want to do any shopping you are by a huge shopping mall. There is also a European day spa and salon. If you can get in here for similar rates, you should dump the Days Inn pronto.

If you do elect to stay at the Days Inn, it's not like you are staying at a dump. I don't want to imply that at all. It's just that it's not very impressive and rather blah.

Have a good time in San Diego.

Is this a safe area?
Yes

Is it next to the freeway/noisy?
Yes

Is it clean?
Probably, most Days Inn are pretty good.

Is the pool area as serene as the website makes it look?
I doubt it. These are budget motels not noted for their pools.

Did I get a good deal?
Maybe. What is the price of the room without zoo tickets and what is the price of the zoo tickets? I bet if you add them up, it is not less than you are paying.
