Anyone have feedback about car rental with Advantage?
 

We will be picking up a car at DFW. We have used Enterprise in the past and had a good experience with very pleasant and helpful staff. We were upgraded to an intermediate which was still a small car. (corolla i think) Advantage seems to have larger cars per catagory so we thought we would try them this time. Any pros or cons to Advantage? I read a few old reviews and they were not good.

We've only rented once from Advantage,in Las Vegas last spring. The car was not in good shape. When we told them about the car's problems at check-in, they said we should have brought it back for another. We probably won't rent from them again even if their price is lower. It also took a long time to get our car & people were coming to the counter complaining then (guess we should have heeded their complaints).

Everything about them was awful in LA.

We rented from Advantage at the Phoenix airport a couple of weeks ago. It took more than an hour to get through the line and down to the car. The car wasn't very clean, inside or out, although everything on the car worked properly. We won't rent from them again.

Thanks for the reponses. I have switched to Enterprise and found a coupon to upgrade if a car is available. The price was even a little less.

We will rent a car from Budget at DFW, picking up on Dec 25th afternoon and dropping of on Jan 1st night. The cost is $288.77. Is it a good deal? Is there any experience about renting from Budget?
