anyone familiar with Richard Rodgers Theater(Movin' Out)?

How are the mezzanine seats at this theater? I'd like to get tickets to Movin'Out and the only ones available are in row E center of mezzanine....any good? I know that sometimes the mezzanine seats are actually better than many of the orchestra seats but I'm not at all familiar with this theater. Looking at the seating chart helps, but I'd rather hear from anyone's personal experience. Thank you, Sabina

Great seats. You have to remember that row A of the mezz. overhangs row L in the orchestra.

There is a paperback book in bookstores (at least here in NYC) called STUBS that shows all the seating plans, info on overhangs, number of seats, etc. The best $10 I ever sent, especially when ordering tix over the phone.

It has been my experience that sightlines from mezzanine seats are usually better than for orchestra seats. Row E mezzanine seats at this theater are as close to the stage as therear rows of the orchestra.

Mezz is good. I saw SIDE SHOW at that theatre - wonderful show! - and as I recall all of the seats felt sort of stadium-ish, row behind being higher than one in front, making viewing a breeze. Enjoy.

They sound like good seats. The band is elevated over the stage for most of the show. You should have a great view of them from those seats. We were in the orchestra level, but far back, and we couldn't see the band because of the overhang of the mezzanine.
I hope you enjoy the show! I just saw it last week and it was great. Look for an upcoming trip report.
