Anyone else seem to get extra frisky while on vacation?

Just wondering. Seems like we always tend to feels more amourous while on vacation. Maybe it's the change in surroundings, or a drop off in stress, but there is a pattern there.

Anyone else able to report similar findings?

umum Feb 6th, 2002 10:27 AM

Steve:
Definitely!!!!! Cares of the world off your shoulders. Just the two of us concentrating on each other. Makes for a very romantic ;) time indeed!

Libby Feb 6th, 2002 10:27 AM

Yes, indeed, now that you mentioned it we do get up earlier and be the first in line at the breakfast bar.

You bet! I love a hotel room for getting frisky. Gives a relationship that extra zing they all need sometimes.

It's great when you have a room with 2 beds and can use one bed for getting frisky in and the other for sleeping!

Woohoo Feb 7th, 2002 07:20 AM

well, yeah!!! Steve, you're too funny!
No work, no stress, no responsibility!!
Frees us up for some real feel good time.
Guess it's no wonder my husband will follow me anywhere!!
Even when kids are with us ~ that's why suites are sooo sweet. :)

come on ladies. fess up!

Carmella Feb 7th, 2002 01:25 PM

Oh course we get more frisky. You have less stress and more time!!

yick Feb 7th, 2002 01:36 PM

No wonder everyone strips the hotel bed of the bedspread (which is never washed) and stashes it. Geez, how much gizz from different people do you suppose you could find on it? Did you see the 20/20 report where they used Luminol on hotel rooms and found gizz stains everywhere -- on the walls, on the carpet, on the furniture -- yeah, nice and clean. Remember that when you're rolling around, you're probably rolling in another's guy's dried puddle.

wuzzup Feb 7th, 2002 01:44 PM

What's the big deal? Evertime you touch anything in public whether a doorknob or menu phone etc etc etc you're touching every body fluid known to man.

!!! Feb 7th, 2002 03:14 PM

Wow, thanks for the visual images, folks! Yuck.

Old Dog Learning Feb 7th, 2002 03:17 PM

Gizz????? That's a new one! LOL!

Wondering Feb 7th, 2002 03:18 PM

I would agree with the exception of CRUISES. I always feel a tad queasy on cruises, and therefore less frisky than on land. Anyone else notice this?

Frisky forum Feb 7th, 2002 03:30 PM

forget that...

I'm always frisky!!!

noname Feb 7th, 2002 05:21 PM

i actually came back from my last vacation pregnant!!

i always take the bedspread off, and they change the sheets daily...nothing like getting frisky on clean crisp sheets!!!

Nauseated Feb 7th, 2002 06:01 PM

I really dont care to hear about your sex lives, you people are making me sick!

Danny Feb 7th, 2002 08:25 PM

Agreed. Yuck! And they DON'T change the sheets daily at most hotels anymore.

wuzzup Feb 7th, 2002 09:12 PM

What do you "take the bedspread off" with? Your hands? LOL
Just face it, you're covered with spooge every time you go out in public.

Oscar Feb 7th, 2002 10:08 PM

My wife brings those Clorox handiwipe things and a pair of disposable rubber paint gloves, no lie, and wipes down just about everything in the hotel room: bathroom fixtures, doorknobs, tub, counter, sink, toilet seat, etc... I laugh at her, but between that and the Purell hand sanitizer we never get sick on a vacation! And when she's finished with the wipes, she removes the bedspread, WITH gloves on. A regular female Felix Unger, but after reading some of the comments here, I'm glad about it now. :)

ddd Feb 7th, 2002 10:37 PM

Oscar,

Got to tell you, that sounds kind of creepy. Does she hose you off, too?

And, did you ever get sick in a motel room before you met her?

Tom Feb 8th, 2002 04:09 AM

I have to admit that Oscar's scenario does sound a tad bizarre.

Judy Feb 8th, 2002 05:19 AM

ddd: very funny.....
And Steve, yes we doTaht si why I am always planning trips!!! >g<
Judy :-D
nina Feb 8th, 2002 05:36 AM

Well Steve I thougt that was a given on vacation! Thanks to all these graphic posts I'm sure the next time I'm in a hotel room I'll be contemplating the presence of, shall will say foreign substances, rather than the business at hand. What a mood killer!

kal Feb 8th, 2002 08:10 AM

If I told ya, I'd be typing in soprano the rest of my life! ;^D

Broke Feb 8th, 2002 08:20 AM

I was so poor after my last vacation that I had to eat Little Friskies.
