Anyone done the Ben & Jerry's tour?

Do you recommend it? How long does the tour last? Can they accommodate a motor coach group? Any comments welcomed...

It was good, but not great. Doesn't take very long. The best part is overlooking the workings of the processing plant. You do get a free dish of ice cream at the end. Go if you're close and have time.

I agree that it's worth stopping if you are in the area, especially if you are a Ben & Jerry's aficionado. I would call to ask about accomodating a group - I would think they'd be able to, but you might have to make arrangements in advance.

I think it's worth a stop - they give samples! It breaks up the drive if you're going further upstate. The tour is not long, but you may have to wait for your tour's starting time.

I agree I think it is worth a stop if you are in the area. Call ahead and make sure that they are processing on the day that you are going to tour. Otherwise there is not much action, you are looking down on an empty processing floor at machine that are not working.

The free ice cream is great. The tour guides are pretty interesting.

I do believe they accomodate groups. As the other poster said, give them a call to check it out.
