cheap but charming accomodation in Rome
I am trying to get recommendations for cheap (at 40-60 euros) but quaint (have an old feel) small and charming family run hotels, pensiones, convents, or b&b's that have a charming view of Rome. I am looking particularly for something close to the Coliseum and Forum area.
I have dreams of waking up to the bells of a nearby church ringing and being able to see a wonderful view out my window in the morning . This is not a necessity of course, but if there are cheap hotels that offer this, please let me know.
Have any for Florence, please share them too!!!
Thanks again!
Patricia

Hi Patricia,
I've found several good deals on www.romeby.com and www.florenceby.com. In Florence, the Cipriani and the Apostoli are great B&B's
I'm sure you'll get a better response by posting in the Europe forum.
