Anybody remember that extraordinary thread about....
the girl who was going to be married somewhere in Hawaii, and the whole family was going....... Grandpa was paying but she didn't want him to stay at the hotel or something like that from a few years ago? It was hysterical ... does anybody remember the title or any keywords or anything? Would love to read it again............;-)

I do remember the thread! She wanted to invite all these guests to her wedding then wanted them to go away so she could have privacy.
Did you try searching for Hawaiian Wedding Grandpa? |
GoTravel, I've tried all kinds of word combos, and can't find it yet! It was so funny........ hope somebody can remember enough to find it!

I couldn't find it either. Fodor's probably deleted it.
How about that other thread, "Hawaii alone or not at all." About the woman who broke up with her abusive boyfriend and was asking if she should take him to Hawaii? I tried to cut and paste the url, but it wouldn't let me. |
Buckeyemom, instead of cut-and-paste try to copy: ctrl-c, ctrl-v.

Maybe they're divorced already.

You are realling digging on "Cindy"
http://www.fodors.com/forums/pgMessa...not+at+all%22+ or http://www.fodors.com/forums/pgMessa...mp;tid=1316956 was the thread titled "What happened to all the Cindy threads???" created by "Wondering" on 08/25/2001, when Cindy was "long gone" from Fodors Now how did I do that? If you're using MSIE, do a right click on the title of the thread that you see on the frame on the left. Click on "copy shortcut" ... now in the "post a reply" screen, just to a control-V (or right-click "paste") and you'll see it. You can eliminate everything after the message number. If you try the above link, you'll see that it displays using the entire screen width, rather than the "index" frame on the left, so makes for easier printing ... so that's a way to print even a current thread ... do the "copy shortcut", then do a "Ctrl+V" in the URL or "address" bar. This keeps those old threads hidden too, unstead of bringing them to the top. (I was reluctant to post to this somewhat "chatty" thread, but considered the question on cutting/pasting relevant to "legitimate" travel talk.) |
