Anybody book through SideStep or OneTravel.com?

Have repeatedly found best airfare Tampa to Cancun to be on Sidestep (that annoying search engine that usually pops up simultaneously on travelocity etc when doing a search). Usually Sidestep does NOT have the lowest fare, but this time it's the best fare three days in a row. I've never heard anyone here mention Sidestep...what gives?

I did use OneTravel.com for a one way ticket home for my son from India (he externded his studies abroad) I saved at least $400 from any other fare that I found. No problems

Pam

I used OneTravel for open-jaws tickets from Chicago to Istanbul and Athens to Chicago. When the itinerary came for the etickets, I realized a duplicate reservation was made and I was charged for 4 tickets instead of 2. I called OneTravel and they immediately took care of the problem and refunded my credit card for the 2 extra tickets. I would definitely use them again.

I forgot to add this to my last post, I also use Sidestep to look for the best airfare. They came up with a fare that was about $300 less than what I had been finding for my trip to Germany in September. It was a special on American that had to be booked at American's web site, which Sidestep then directed me too. I don't think a lot of people know about Sidestep which is why you don't see it mentioned here. I think I found out about it through www.frommers.com

I used to use Sidestep alot -- then they came out with a new release and I haven't been able to access it at all. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Thanks to all of you! I think I will go ahead and book through Sidestep/One Travel.

To C: I don't know exactly why, but Sidestep pops up on almost all the travel websites whenever I do a search. I found this link on my computer: http://www.sidestep.com/desktop/?SbAutoOpen=1
Perhaps this will help you to access the site...
Thanks again!
Joan

I use it all the time. There is an option that puts it on the tool bar at the top of Internet Explorer. You can click on it and it only takes up a small part of the screen, along the left hand side. Leaves what ever page was up, like fodors travel talk, on the rest of your screen -- probably why it is called Sidestep. You can check for low prices and it does it's little thing. You can either link directly to the airline's website, or close it while you figure out your alternatives.
