Anybody been on the Grand Canyon Skywalk?
Planning a trip and was wondering your experience? I am not worried about price just the thrill/not of it. Rode the rollercoaster at Stratosphere and loved the "suspended animation" of it!

The reports when it first opened were very, very negative. If you like rollercoasters, you may like the bus ride to get out to it. Can't take your camera out on it either. You DO know where it is located, don't you? I wouldn't drive that far away for such a dud experience. In fact, I don't remember one positive post about it.
My favorite was the post about a European family who drove hours to get to it to learn that they were closing it early that day - just because they were tired of working that day and wanted to go home early

Can't take my camera! What is the purpose of it if you can't take your camera? My photographic mind is getting worse with age and I just don't see going out on it without a camera! Oh well I'll put this sight off for the time being. Thanks guys!

Huh, you might find this interesting, I have been googling for info on skywalk and I just find out this morning there is now THE OFFICIAL SITE OF THE GRANDCANYON SKYWALK, www.grandcanyonskywalk.com
