Yvonne,
It's the "Huntley" and it's directly across the street from the Miramar Hotel. I've only been to happy hour in their restaurant upstairs (great view) so I cannot attest to the rooms. I do not believe they have a pool. It is in a great location in a (relatively) quiet, residential area of Santa Monica, and a couple of short blocks to the beach. It's also close to the downtown walking area of Santa Monica (3rd St. Promenade, etc.).

Hi,
I had some family stay there last year and also at the Mirmar across the street. the Huntley has a great location-right near the ocean and the Third Street Promenade. You really can't go wrong. Don't know about their pool but their is a restaurant on top with a great view and ok food.

It is relatively inexpensive for a nice Santa Monica Hotel.

I have been to most of the hotels in SM--let me know if you need more info.

What are the cheapest hotels in S.M. now? There seems to have been tremendous price inflation since I used to stay at the convenient Hotel Carmel.

Alissa
Can you tell me about a more reasonable nice hotel with suites, refrigerator and complimentary breakfast, and possibly free parking in December. I mean less than $150 a night.

Have you tried the Doubletree? - no breakfast but is fairly reasonable for SM.
