any idea about the hotel in San Francisco !
 

Hi All,

I have been quietly reading all the posts aout things to do in San Francisco and i would like to thank everyone for the great nuggets of information.

We are visitng SF in March and DH went ahead and booked Executive Hotel Vintage Court thru Priceline(name your own price). I read its reviews and now concerned as they don't look good.

Has anybody stayed there and how was your experience? It will help me prepare myself to 'grin and bear it' .

Any ideas would be appreciated on how i can request for a nicer room, just in case.

and also want to ask you where is this hotel and the cross street - the locals may advise on the safety of the area

We are also staying there in March.

Nidi, you may have a gorgeous view! Don't know about the hotel, but the area is not bad, 2 blocks off Union square, buses close.

Your choice is not bad, but generally: if you don't expect much, you'll appreciate more what you have.

Thanks FainaAgain. Its on Bush Street. The hotel website mentions the area as Nob Hill. I am kind of upset after reading the hotel reviews but consoling myself that i will be exploring the wonderful city (it will be my first visit) of San Francisco.

mikemo, when are you going to be there? We will stay there between March 18-22. It would be great to meet a Fodorite in person :)
