Could you be a little more specific? Drive or fly? Do you want a resort setting with tons of amenities (and room service) or a rustic cottage on the Maine coast? My concern would be it might not be possible to clear your mind with lots of empty hours and you might be better off someplace with some interesting distractions that help you think of something else.

Cottage on the Maine coast sounds perfect. I second the suggestion.

When do you want to go?
Total Budget?
How much time do you have?
Will you be alone?
Willing to fly, train, drive?
Does any particular weather or season make you feel good?

Meditation, something creative, physical activities? Which usually work for you?
Perhaps for some people, isolation and quiet work, but it does not for me. Even though I am an extreme introvert, in isolation, I just dwell on my worries or concerns and solve nothing.

Some time ago, I read that one of the best things a person can do for their mental/emotional health is to do some creative activity like music or dance that requires such total focus that their brain has to disconnect from other things. The brain takes a break from worries and can return fresh. An intense week long painting course, or music or dance or tennis or something entirely new that you may have always wanted to try might be good. That works for me.

Going to a new place with history, new foods, new things to do, can also remove you from stress long enough to gain a new perspective.

DH, OTOH, is an extrovert and loves situations where he meets and mingles with a lot of new people.

Figuring out what works for you will help others make good suggestions.

All the best in your search.

No idea where you are or exactly what you're looking for, but maybe a stay in a Zen monastery in the Catskills?

Even though I'm now 66, I'm not ready to "rest in peace."
