Any good golfing communities you'd recommend?

As much as I'd love to live in California so I could golf year around, I just can't afford that. I'd love a recommendation to either live (or at least spend a long vacation there) that is good for golfing. My criteria is:
1. safe, clean
2. as inexpensive housing as possible
3. golfing at least 9 months out of the year
4. the lower the humidity the better (please don't recommend anywhere in Florida...been there and it had nothing appealing to me)
Thanks,
kenny

Arizona fits your criteria. You can even live on a golf course for not thta much money.

Another vote for AZ, not Phoenix proper but the surrounding cities, fit all of your requirements.
