Any correlation between Fodors addiction and HGTV addiction?

I KNEW I wasn't alone in this!
I'm addicted to Trading Spaces as well. Have visited their web site at http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/tr...ingspaces.html (they have a message board), but it takes too long to access.
I actually LIKE Sheri and Matt on "Room By Room" -- that's how bad my HGTV jones has gotten.

I like Shari and Matt, too. They are dorky, but they have some good, inexpensive ideas. That is also why I love Trading Spaces - they work on a budget.
Saw a show a few nights ago on the food network about New Orleans. They focused on restaurants, interviewing chefs and owners. Several are mentioned here often (Galatoires, Brennans, Commander's Palace, etc.)

Oh oh, I love HGTV too. I try to watch the Travel Channel but they are most definitely obsessed with Vegas, a destination that doesn't interest me in the least. On Sunday while folding laundry I did learn how to survive if stranded in the desert on the Travel channel, information that will no doubt prove invaluable in the future!

I am so with all of you - I'm such an addict of both. I love Designing for the Sexes on HGTV, but Room by Room drives me nuts. I just don't like their design ideas. I'm also an addict of the Food Network, and I like the Travel Channel when they are showing something interesting (I'm sick of Vegas, too).

Too right! Travelers seem to love those Discovery Channel offshoots like Travel Channel, Animal Planet, HGTV.
As far as Matt & Sheri, I'm with the "God those people are dorks" crowd though. Their hair stylist ought to be taken out and shot. What is UP with their stupid bangs? Who in the world wears his and hers matching bangs? And exactly what does Sheri have to do to get that ridiculous six inch flip curl above her forehead? I get so distracted by their bad haircuts that I can't pay attention to their bad room designs -- like plaid wallpaper and chintz floral table drapery.
Give me that little bald bearded guy, what's his name? Christopher Something. Yes, he's gay as a blade, and he really does have some great design ideas, unlike that dorky Bangs Couple.

Sheri and Matt look like they stepped out of the 50's. I think it such a joke that the producers would think we would take their designs ideas seriously when they are put together with such poor style and design.
Tell me - are they brother and sister, husband and wife, or neither?
And their designs are pathetic. Often I like the "before" better than the "after".
