Any Canadians On This Board? Need Your Help!

I've posted this message on the Canada board, but haven't gotten an answer yet.

I'm going to Quebec City with my parents, both over 75 and have narrowed our hotel choices to Clarendon, Arcadia and Manoir Victoria. Which hotel would be most appropriate (fewest steps, not situated on a steep incline, near most tourist locations, etc.) for senior travellers?

Thanks!

i would suggest calling the hotels (perhaps check for 1-800 phone numbers) and ask to speak with the concierge to get your questions answered. alternatively, check with a travel agent who might be able to answer the questions by calling. you might also call a tourist office in quebec city. anyway, i hope someone who can specifically answer your questions will reply.

get on "Google" ..type in the hotel name and see if the hotel has it's own web page. Or call the hotel directly. You could have an answer by now.

Thank you to everyone who has suggested that I visit the hotels' web sites. I did that, which is how I selected the three noted hotels.

What I would appreciate, if possible, are personal recommendations from people who have visited, or live in, Quebec City and can give me an unbiased opinion. I imagine that if I call the three hotels, they will all tell me that they are the most conveniently located hotel.
I might change title in your Canadian post to Quebec Hotels. Also, you only posted it here 2 hours after posting on the Canad board. Give it some time.

IU would suggest you check out the Loews Concorde or the fabulous Chateau Frontenac, both in or near the old city and all the sights. The Loews is a modern hotel and has more moderate rates than the Chateau. The Chateau is romantic and nostalgic and a landmark hotel previously owned by the Canadian Pacific railroads.
