antiques, food & spa

We are looking for a destination with antique shopping, great food, luxury hotel spa, and a room with a view. Any suggestions?

Maybe the Greenbriar in West Virginia? Haven't done the antique shopping, but I heard it's good around there. It meets your other criteria, though.

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin?

New Orleans has quite a few antique districts. Theres one in the French Quarter, and another on Magazine Street.

Also, Savannah has a terrific antiques area.

Those are my top two Southern favorites. You'll have to find your accomodations.

Stockbridge or Lennox Massachussettes, in the Berkshire Mts.
The view would be verdant feilds, or mountains or forests, the spa would be something small and private or the
Canyon Ranch .
Antiques are everywhere, there is a road, Highway #7 ( I believe) that is one after another of shops, galleries and malls full of antiques..wonderful!
Food...google the berkshires and just make lists, it is all pretty great!

Scarlett gave you a very good rec. I'm in the interior design business and if looking for good antiques I'd head to Litchfield and look to spend time at Canyon Ranch. Not luxury but a great spa, if not The Great Spa. LMF
