Antique Stores in the Chicago Area

I know that there are a lot of antique stores along Lincoln up around Wrigley Field. Are there any other really good areas within the city or in the outlying suburbs? Antique Malls?

St. Charles, about 40 miles west of Chicago is a good town for antiquing.
Also, I belive the town is called Richmond, it would be father away & NorthWest of the city, closer to the Wisconsin border has a lot of antique stores. Sandwich, IL has a great antique flea market, the 3rd Sunday of every month through May-October, it would be an hour or so drive from Chicago

Geneva is the next town to St. Charles and has antique shops. The Kane Country Flea mkt (1st week-end of every month) between St. Charles and Geneva has a little bit of everyting

An interesting combination in the city is Salvage One, see online catalog (http://www.salvageone.com/ ) at 1840 WEST HUBBARD, which is west of the Lincoln Ave shops. Joining them in a huge warehouse is a resale shop called Gabriels Trumpet, which has a wide variety of antiques http://www.gabrielstrumpet.com/.

Don,

I'm not an "antiquer" myself but the section of Belmont between Wolcott and Damen is called Antique Avenue. It's in the Roscoe Village Neighborhood just west of Lakview. Quite a few antique stores there, though I can't speak to their quality.
