Anniversary Trip - California or Florida
 

My husband and I are planning our 1st anniversary trip. We are considering the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego or The Breakers in West Palm Beach. We will only be staying about 4 days in Mid July. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Jif, even tho I live in Florida, I have to go with Hotel Del Coronado because you are going in July---unless you love heat, San Diego is much much better in July. Palm Beach will be about 92 degrees and about 80% humidity that time of year

Hi Jif, I agree with SiestaLinda. Florida will not only be hot but humid. San Diego will be much more enjoyable. Happy 1st anniversary to the two of you.

I've never been to Florida, so mine is definitely a one-sided opinion. I just wanted to say that I think the Hotel Del would be a terrific place to spend an anniversary.

Even Floridians don't like Florida in July!

While I think the Breakers is a superior hotel to the Hotel Del, and don't get me wrong, I love the Hotel Del, I agree with the others. Skip Florida in July. Yikes!

I add my vote to the Del Coronado in San Diego.
