Anniversary getaway ideas!

Looking for a weekend getaway coming from the San Francisco area. It's our ten year anniversary and we really want something special. We aren't opposed to flying anywhere-as long as it's not too far. Considering: Cannon beach,OR, or Malahat B.C.,...we've done Vegas, San Diego..wanted something "refreshing".Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I suppose I'm stating the obvious if I say Napa Valley. We were married at Aubere du Soleil which is a beautiful place to stay.

Mendencio area? Albion River Inn another gorgous spot to stay

Carmel? Post Ranch Inn?

Considering I live in OR, I am a bit biased and think Cannon Beach is great What time of year, and what sort of budget and interests?

Leaving soon...(Sept7-9)wish we could have planned sooner, but we have three little ones and just convinced our parents to keep them!
We love Carmel, but we are looking for something new.. ditto with Napa- Auberge is gorgeous and yummy food!
We have also done Mendicino - very pretty.

Budgetwise, anything up up $500/per night is fine..hey ten years is a long time! We might be looking too late anyway...just hoping.
Thank you!

Excellent weekend for an anniversary If you come to OR, you just might run into us celebrating ours as well! With it being short notice, I would make a decision on where and then book something asap. Here on the coast, that is still a busy time on the weekends since it typically is still nice weather. A couple places in CB that would be nice are Stephanie Inn (do a search for beachbum as he has stayed here), Ocean Lodge, and Surfsand Resort. We have stayed at Surfsand a number of times and love it.

I would go to the lovely Tu Tu Tun Lodge.
It is stunning and located at Gold Beach, Oregon.
Happy 10th anniversary to you!
