Anniversary dinner Captiva/Sanibel
This is our 45th, and we are staying at Jensens on the Gulf in Captiva. Where would you suggest for a gulf view dinner at sunset?
The best I have found seem to be the dining room at Tween Waters Inn and at Casa Ybel in Sanibel.

We stayed at Tween Waters in February and loved the Old Captiva House. I can't remember if you can actually see the sunset from inside the restaurant - maybe from a couple of tables. You would probably have to call them. We always watched the sunset from the beach and then crossed the street back to eat - but it was Feb and sun set fairly early. However, the food and service were fantastic - so much so that we ate there several times during our stay.

There are few restaurants from which you can dine and see the ocean. Mad Hatter may be one and the Sunset Grill has a nice atmosphere and a view of the sunset. You can always have a drink and toast the sunset on the beach at the Mucky Duck. Eat somewhere else.
