Annapolis. Naval Academy

I have 5 or 6 days in the DC area and the Naval Academy was suggested by a friend. Worth a visit?
Would you spend a day in Annapolis if you only had 5 or so days?
Anything else you suggest in Annapolis?
I like history, architecture.
Not into shopping or art museums...
Thanks

If you have a car, Annapolis is a great day trip. Cute town, neat architecture, the Naval Academy is beautiful

Naval Academy tour is very worthwhile. There is a naval history museum in the Yard as it is called. The State House is also an interesting tour since it was the seat of the nations capitol for a brief period after the revolutionary war. There are also some historical houses around the Maryland Ave area that belonged to some of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

Hi nil,

We took a tour of the Naval Academy and it was great.

There was more history than I ever imagined and the tour of the cadet's dorms and facilities made me want to go back to college.

Have a good trip,

==Mike
