Angkor Wat/Phnom Penh hotels
 

I am traveling to Angkor Wat and Phnom Penh in November and was hoping for some help on boutique hotels. Something nice and true to the Cambodia culture. Price range $50-$75 USD. Thank you.

So I am new at this and realized i have United States in the demo area...i do know that this is in Cambodia.

If you find a good one, let us know! We're reserved for January at the Bopha Angkor right now, which is locally owned and in that range. Be more than interested in a particularly good experience if you find on though. Lots of people on the Asia board like the pricier options.

I actually heard of Lotus Guest House in Siem Reap is owned by a Belgian with a French Restaurant...just can't find it anywhere..anyone?

Clifton: Just returned and I have a couple suggestions for you. In siem reap, we stayed at La Noria Guest House which was great...for $37/night. HOWEVER, there is a great irish pub that has accomodations called Molly Malones which we liked a lot - the owners are SO friendly. http://www.travelfish.org/accommodat...2/1?ord=0...it is on a noisy street if that doesn't bother you but we had a great time there. If you are heading to Phnom Penh you must stay at the Bougainvillier Inn...it was amazing and right on the river. Good Luck and enjoy. OH, bring something sturdier than flip flops for visiting the temples as there is A LOT of climbing. We LOVED our time in Cambodia and I am sure you will too.
