Angelina's guest house

Considering staying at Angelina's . The reviews on Trip Advisory have nothing but good things to say about this place. I have talked to the folks on the phone and they are very friendly unlike alot of the folks I have talked to in Key West over the years. Just wondering if anyone has been there lately and has any comments. Thanks

I've never stayed there but have only heard positive comments of it.

Hi

I stayed there about a year-and-a-half ago. It's a homey B&B with a heated small pool that was a brothel closer to the turn of the century (19th->20th)... was totally my cup of tea, within easy walking distance of Duval Street, Blue Heaven and Higgs Beach. I think it would appeal to somewhat who wants old-world charm rather than modern. I loved it.

I mention it in my trip report...

We stayed there last year because of the positive comments on Trip Advisor. We liked the location and pool was really nice. Breakfast was a bit boring as it was the same every day, but filled us up until lunchtime. We also liked the price.

I would suggest getting one of the larger rooms. We had a super tiny room and this impacted our impression of the guest house. If noise bothers you (which you can't avoid in Key West) I would suggest getting a room that does not face the road. We were woken up several times and we had a room facing the street.

We would go back for price and location only if we could secure a better room.
