Anchorage Hotel w/ Taxidermy Animals?

Okay, I couldn't think of a short message title and I didn't want to mess up the boards!

We are planning a last minute trip to visit friends in Homer and will fly into Anchorage and spend a night and the next day to "see what we can see" before the drive.

I'd like a hotel that "looks like you're really in Alaska", preferable 3 or 4 star with taxidermy animals in the lobby or maybe nature informational stuff. (Quit laughing, those of you who have traveled with small children know what I'm up against!)
My kids ( 5, 3, 10 months)would get a huge kick out of this, if it exists. I keep thinking of the bear at the Juneau airport.

We stayed at the DOWNTOWN Ramada in August and there is a musk ox in the small lobby. I took a photo of my husband sitting next to it. There may have been a few more animals, don't remember; it seemed to be recently renovated, clean and a very helpful staff. They have a free airport shuttle.
I'm not laughing at your question, I was looking for the same thing, and we did not have any children with us!!!

Hilton downtown. They have 2 large bears (Polar and Grizzly) in the lobby, and the hotel itself is just gorgeous. Their bar is also a good one!

Thanks to each of you.

So far the Hilton is winning unless someone can "top" two big bears!

Not that this is of any help but it reminded me of taking our kids to visit my husbands Grandma in Cheyenne WY years ago. She told us she had a treat for the boys when we arrived, a special sightseeing trip. She then had us pile in the minivan and directed us to a taxidermists. It really was fascinating and the boys who are now grown still remember Grammy's surprise!

Thanks for the suggestions... still not sure when we're going ( June or September), but I will post a report and let you know where we ended up!
