An inn for Thanksgiving

We are not going to be able to go home this year for Thanksgiving, we have a 5 month old and it would just be too difficult for too short of a time. We are looking to find a charming inn, that accomodates children, to spend Thanksgiving at. Somewhere that is not a inn/hotel but a real inn. We live in central CT and don't want to drive much more than 3 hours. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Do you know the Griswold Inn? Was started in 1776 and is a most charming old inn with great food and very cozy dining rooms. Folks come from all over to have holiday dinners there. Don't know if reservations are still available. It's in Essex, CT, near the Connecticut River Valley. Must have a website.

"The Gris" is definitely a good idea, as would be the Silvermine Inn in Norwalk. Either would be about an hour's drive from central CT. In Massachusetts, the Deerfield Inn might be something to consider.
