An Idea for Posters

When posting a question specific to a city, why not do something like this? If everyone did it, it might be easier to respond to your query. Everyone could get responses a lot quicker too. Just a thought.

For example:

NYC-Good Hotels?

L.A.-Nice Restaurants?

BOSTON - Foliage?

CHICAGO-Lodging?

Hmmmm. Not always so simple. Examples:

Babies--on planes

America--vacation time

Travel--why

Do I sense a frustrated teacher here? All together class, now lets do it this way....

Burro & Anon - why don't you two get married and start a new chapter of Misogynists United? Good grief. Can't you tell when someone is trying to make a gentle suggestion and not dictate hard and fast rules? I think Peggy's kind of headings are a lot better than HELP!!!! or NEED ADVICE!! I'm sure that's what she was trying to address.

To paraphrase the words in a Jimmy Buffet song, "I don't want that much organization in my life!" Hey, read what you want and skip the rest. It's good training for "skim" reading. <Smile>

I agree with Peggy 110%. I HATE it when I see "opinion" or "hotel..." as a header. Those headers mean nothing to the reader, especially when many people don't scroll by location and just do the general U.S. search.

Jazzbo and John, thank you so much for coming to my rescue and pointing out what I was trying to do. I was attempting to make it easier for those who had questions and those who are nice enough to take the time to answer them. I think many people forget it is NOT required for ANYONE to respond. It is time consuming for many and I, for one, truly appreciate those who take the time to respond in their insightful way. Thanks to you both. I didn't mean to come across preachy, just as a simple suggestion to make the forum even better. :-) And no, I'm not a frustrated teacher. I'm a flight attendant.
