Amtrak Spokane Washington

Hello! I am hoping to get some information on the Amtrak station in Spokane Washington. Unfortunately, I will be arriving late, 1:50 am, and will need transportation to my hotel. Any suggestions? Definitely safety and security is my top priority. Thanks!

Waiting for tomfuller to reply (our resident Amtrak expert :) ) but were are you coming from . . . taxis meet incoming trains at most major stations I've experienced and Spokane shouldn't be any different, or you can easily call one or use uber. I haven't taken the train to Spokane but have been downtown and I would feel safe at the station.

However, you will only arrive at 01:50 IF you are really lucky. If you are taking a long distance train, you could arrive hours later than that.

On Amtrak?

I’m actually coming in from Chicago to Spokane on Amtrak for a River Boat Cruise. Will be arriving at 1:40 am. I think Portland got in the discussion because I will be leaving from there to return home. Sorry for the mix-up.

Todays #7 Empire Builder arrived in Spokane 11 minutes early (1:29AM). This is no guarantee that your train will arrive on time. Last month I took the eastbound Empire Builder from Portland and arrived in Chicago about 1.5 hours late. If you arrive very late, you might not even want to check into a hotel. Try to get some sleep after you leave Whitefish Montana.
The best hotel close to The Spokane Amtrak station is the Davenport. When does your boat tour start in Spokane?
The very first time I was in Spokane was with my parents when we went to the World's Fair there.
Went to Expo '74. The Riverfront Park is still nice. The waiting room at the SPK Amtrak station is open 24 hours/7 days.
