Amtrak Auto Train (Florida) Discounts?
Does anyone have an Amtrak promotion code for the Auto Train to Florida this summer? I've found a discount at the following link in past years, but I don't see anything there that would apply to the Auto Train this year.

Thanks!

I finally came across this year's Auto Train discount at http://www.railserve.com/amtrak_coupons.html . The code H809 provides a $19 child fare (age 2-15) through August.
Hersel: According to the link above, this year's Orlando card code is V145.

Looking to book the auto train for June return November. Does anyone know if any day is a more reasonable rate to book than another? I know it is rather late to book, and feel that may why it is so $$$

Misscarol, The autotrain prices are like airline tickets--the price goes up the more seats they sell. So if your dates are flexible, I'd suggest checking the fares on a few different days. I've often found that moving my travel by a day or two can make hundreds of dollars difference in the autotrain fare, as all three fares are affected (basic seat fare, car transport, and optional room fare). Weekend fares tend to sell first, though its worth spending some time with the Amtrak site to see what seats/rooms are selling for on different days in both June and November.
