Amish country in Ohio
We'll be staying at Inn at Honey Run near Millersburg, Ohio for one night. We will not have too much time, just half a day at best, but what should we see or visit in the area ?

Eva
My mother used to live in Millersburg. We loved some of the B&Bs, Amish restaurants and area scenery. I honestly don't remember doing anything else except buying cheese and Summer Sausage.

We have stayed at the Inn at Honey Run and loved it. Hope you do too. WE go to that area of Ohio fairly often and always enjoy just driving around Amish back roads and shopping in the many shops in Berlin, Sugar Creek, Kidron, etc. There are also quite a few fun and yummy Amish Restaurants. Have a great time!!

Eva:

Remember on Sunday most of the business in the area are closed. Go to Charm for the best Baby Swiss cheese-Guissberg?? (not sure of the spelling but there are signs all over and you can't miss the factory). We visit a couple times a year and buy wheels of cheese. Berlin has a lot of little country/craft type stores. Walnut Creek-Colbetz hand dipped chocolates. There are also several Amish family style restaurants-just don't eat before you go because the meals are huge. The area has small rolling hills and is really pretty but crowded at this time of the year. If you are a Longaberger basket collector, the headquarters is a short drive (about 45 min) southeast in Dresden (near Coshocton).
