Amish Counrty/Lancaster,Pa.

Looking for a 2 night mid-week stay in Amish country with our 6 year old grand daughter in early April. Plan to visit Hershey for a 1/2 day and see the sights in and around Lancaster.
Open to stay in farm, bed and breakfast, boutique hotel and or Inn.
Suite works best in Very nice accommodations that are well located.

We stayed in a B&B in Lititz once with our grandchild who was 12 at the time. This just outside of Lancester. The place was called Swiss Woods and it was lovely.

My son went to college in Lancaster - we're very fond of the area. We liked to stay in the Lancaster Arts Hotel but with a six-year-old you might check out the Host Farms Resort, which has lots of activities for kids.

Our favorite place to eat (& drink) was Iron Hill, right across the street from Franklin & Marshall College.

Good luck!

Stayed here last year: www.continentalinn.com.

Was quite pleased; free computer in lobby, full breakfast
for 2 included w/room, refrigerator, flatscreen TV, 2 pools, discount amusement & tour tickets. Very close to all the outlets.
very nice personnel...would highly recommend.

Last year I stayed here with my 5 year old grandson. He loved it. (If you do decide to stay here, in the gift shop ask to borrow a fish for your room.)
