Americans moving to Europe

I found the topic of a recent posting on why Europeans would move to the US interesting. I'm curious as to why Americans move to Europe. Regards, BMK

Because we really like it there.

Perhaps they're in the military. DH was sent to Lakenheath for two summers--wish we could have stayed longer.

They want lower pay and a higher cost of living?

They like tiny elevators and soft ice cubes?

They have been exiled?

They appreciate good beer?

They want out of the (local) rat race for a bit?

There's someplace they want to get to know really well? Maybe experience a different culture in depth?

Their famillies have politely asked them to leave the country?

We did not move to Europe but we did move out of the US and a lot of it has to do with what a person wants out of their daily life, what they enjoy and how they want to spend their time and energy.
And the tiny elevators and not understanding anything that anyone says is just a Perk :D
