If you are a senior, over 62, you can still purchase a lifetime national park pass for $10 plus $10 handling fee. It increases to $80 in 3 weeks. Do it online.

No handling fee if you purchase in person at a National Park,Fish and Wildlife, Forest Service etc.

They are but you can use your receipt to get entrance until your card arrives.

Best bargain ever!
Several years ago, we had the option of paying $10 admission to a NP or spending $10 on the Lifetime Pass. Easiest decision we've ever made.

My DW lost hers so I took her into our local Forest Service Ranger Station to buy a new one. Keep it behind your drivers license or other photo ID.
You do have to show the photo ID along with the lifetime pass to gain entry into the fee parks.
