Amelia Island restaurants

Can anyone recommend good restaurants in Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach? Has anything new and/or interesting opened up in the past year? Thanks!

Barbara Jean's for crabcakes.

It's not new, but Brett's Waterway is always our favorite when we're visiting Amelia and Fernandina.

Thanks for the suggestions. We always enjoy Brett's -- where is Barbara Jean's?

We love Joes 2nd St Bistro downtown. Plae is new at the plantation and really good. Barbara Jeans also has great breads and crab soup and is on your right immediately after you getting on the island in a shopping plaza. Of course KPs deli is always an excellent casual place. Have fun!!

I know this thread is a bit old, but I was looking for something else and noticed my favorite restaurants aren't mentioned.
1--Centre Street Cafe
2--1878
3--Who's on Fourth

and for lunch
LuLu's Bra and Grill
Cafe Karibo
Brett's (of course)
Bonitos
FYI Barbara Jean's is a chain
