Well......it's kind of a dump. right on the end of Waikiki. I went to the site, those photos are really something! Amazing what you can do in Photoshop.

Melissa is there still a problem with prostitution in Waikiki? If there is Cynthia check out the Ilikai condos, main buildig. You don't want to mess around with a low end hotel that Prostitutes and their johns will frequent.

Any recent reviews of this hotel? I already checked Tripadvisor. Thanks!

The Ambassador is not in a seedy neighborhood. Nor is it on the end of Waikiki.

It is located in the Ft. DeRussy area.

I don't know anything about the inside of the hotel.

I stayed there a few years ago--it's not the nicest, but I remember it as being clean and OK at least. It's right across from the Maile Sky Court, where there are tons of tourists on Pleasant Holidays packages. You'd be safe there.

Has it been swept up in the Lewers Street Beach Walk revitalization project? It appears fairly close.

suze, it is about 4-5 blocks from the Lewers/Beachwalk construction.
