Ambassador Hotel
 

Can anyone tell me what this hotel is like? I have been to N.O. numerous times, but have always stayed in the quarter (Monteleone, Sonesta, etc.) I decided on this hotel because I got a rate of $49, $49 and 0$ for a three night stay on December 21, 22, and 23. How far is the hotel from Riverwalk? We ate at Emeril's the last time we were there. How far is the hotel form Emeril's? <BR> <BR>Thanks for you help, <BR>December Traveler

The hotel is just okay. It gets fairly negative reviews on other travel boards. However, for that price you really can't complain. <BR> <BR>It's walking distance to both Emerils and the Riverwalk.

Buy cheap, buy again!

I haven't been but we are booked there for Jan. 4 - 7. However, I will say I have yet to see a very bad/negative reader review. From what I have read it's marginal - but at least clean and secure but for the price you can't complain. Please post a follow-up to this!

I just returned from this place. It's not that great of a hotel but it's worth the rates that Jeff mentioned. My room was not clean (hair in the tub, etc) but they quickly sent a maid to re-do the room. You will have a nice time in New Orleans in January. Fun town.
