After Chip and Kim had found out they won I was hoping that they would cut to Brandon and Nicole, saying, "meanwhile, back at the maze..." Notice how they were never contenders in the end, and it was edited as a final scramble between C&C/C&K?

I am so glad that Chip and Kim did win. They were in fact my favorites since the beginning. The bowling moms became a second-half favorite of mine, as well, making it so much farther than any older women ever have before. I was sad to see the climbing challenge, because I knew that would be the end of it for them.

I'm sad that I missed all the drama on Good Morning America, though! Mostly, I'm sad that I missed the Bowling Dads! That's too cute.

Debbie,
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! My email is [email protected]. You are saving me from total humiliation.

It was such a sweet victory for Chip and Kim, I'd hate to be responsible for my neighbors missing it.

LOVED that finale. Yes, this show deserves every Emmy it wins. Hard to believe it was almost cancelled at one time - although unlike Big Brother it can't be the easiest or cheapest show to produce.

Very happy that Chip & Kim won. Although, as much as I disliked Colin and Christie sometimes, for the most part the ran the race very well and I would have been satisfied if they had won also. Look at how they caught up on last night's episode. If their original flight had left on time, they probably would have been standing there in 1st place. One thing can change the whole race. And I honestly thought that the Bowling Moms had a chance to at least get to the last leg of the race when they gained 20 minutes or so on C&C by going for the other flag. But that cliff climb was TOUGH, man.

Was anyone else surprised that at least 2 of the teams didn't know the meaning of the word "vertigo"? Didn't something similar to this happen during the episode in Egypt?

SO glad Chip and Kim won! They deserved it! Chip always treated his wife with respect and praise. Colin treated Christie like crap the whole race. I'm surprised she accepted his proposal. Think how he will treat her when he's her husband, yikes. Run Christie, Run!!!!! At least Brandon gave Nicole a piggy bag ride when she freaked out on the bikes. Nice guys do finish first sometimes!!!

I'm thrilled Chip & Kim won!! They were the perfect balance - not sickeningly wholesome like Brandon & Nicole and not overly competitive/combative like Colin & Christie. Regarding Chip & Kim blowing the money - that doesn't concern me. I got the impression they had done fairly well for themselves and prior to the show (I don't know this, they just didn't seem like a couple that was struggling) so I would guess the money is going to allow them to pursue dreams rather than just help them get by. Regardless, I was so happy to see them win. Truly a quality tv moment.

Also kudos to Drew for winning BigBrother. He wouldn't have been my first choice, but as a fellow Miami Univ alum I have to give him props for pulling out the big win!!

I just watched the Early Show and saw that segment. Yikes on the proposal! I wonder if Chip & Kim ever made up with C&C? Chip & Kim and the Bowling Moms are a great tribute to "real people," I hope they also get hired as spokespeople for various products...maybe sporting gear?

In Egypt, not one of them seemed to know what a "scarab" is. Don't these people watch movies?

Also, Chip had every right to fake out Brandon and Nicole on the flag thing because they were following him, letting him get out of the boat and go to shore while they watched. If Chip had let on that it was the correct flag, Brandon and Nicole would have gotten an unfair advantage.

And, yeah, Brandon and Nicole did act distant on CBS this Morning.

I did not watch the whole season, only a show here/there. But, I watched last night. I was for Chip and Kim! They were a great TEAM! That is what they are supposed to be, a team! Colin could be a real jerk and he seemed to want to take charge all the time- not a team in my book. When Christie could not get up the mountain instead of coaching her on he really belittled her. Glad they did not win. I would have been happy if the Moms won- they had spirit, or even Brandon and Nicole- they were real sweet but may not have been the ideal team. OH, and get over the fact that Chip lied! It was a game for goodness sake! If it had been me, I would have not said anything- but oh well. Overall, the best team won!

I'm so glad Brancon and Nichole didn't win!!!

She never did any of the challenges - except the caviar eating - and those comments she made while he was doing the rope climb up the cliff! She was mostly interested in becoming a millionaire.

And I'm sorry - but praying to Jesus to help you find a clue or get through a traffic jam is sad. I'ts like stopping to pray because you can't easily find a parking spot at the mall. Faith loses impact when squandered.

All in all it was a fabulous season - and so many new places to visit!

I hope all of the contestants take a good look at themselves on the shows. Colin & Christie above everyone else should get a real eye-opener on how crazy their relationship is.

We love TAR at our house. Sorry it's over. We rooted for Chip and Kim early on. When it did not look good for them early on last night I was so anxious I had to go online to see who won before I could relax and enjoy the show! LOL

Son asked at one point who we would prefer C&C or B&N. I said it didn't matter to me between those two, I'd be disappointed if either of them won. Guess Jesus wasn't really into who won TAR!

I missed them on the early show but thanks for the update on what happened! Not surprised that Brandon & Nicole seemed distant. Not surprised that Colin proposed. While I agree that they have their issues I can't entirely hate them for arguing. There have been a lot of teams on all episodes that fought with each other. Even the bowling moms had a couple of momments where the brunette had it with Linda. I think they are in a highly stressful/competitive atmosphere where they don't get a lot of sleep and are constantly on the move for 30-40 days so I can see why their tempers wouldn't be the best. I still think Colin & Christie were far better than that dating couple that got eliminated towards the beginning of the race. They are no longer together and they had some really nasty fights on camera. You could just tell they shouldn't be together and it wouldn't work out.

I want to apply but my husband said we would be the team constantly fighting and I told him that's exactly what they look for! That's probably why Brandon and Nicole were so boring because they were almost always so calm and unemotional. Their best moments were the mountain bikes and the bus money issue.
