Aloha or Hawaiian Air lines

Does anyone have any preference between Aloha Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines for inter-island flights???
Thanks.
Frank

Hawaiian Air has always been cheaper for our flights so this is the only airline we've ever flown inter-island. We've had good luck and they're great about letting you fly out earlier the same day etc. should your plans change.

The two are pretty much the same.

Hawaiian is using all new planes this summer, they also have a better mileage program.

They are virtually identical, except Aloha gives you your choice of Aloha or United FF Miles. I use the one with the cheapest tickets or the flight time I need.

Hawaiian gives a choice of Hawaiian or Continental FF miles. 500 miles for each segment

I like the seats better on Aloha wider and leather. But it is little difference think there have been merger talk between the two for some time. The flights are so short. Never found cheaper prices on Hawaiian at least in the last three years that I have been going back and forth or when I lived there.

Always best to buy the coupons at the airport reserv you flight now without Credit card hold on either airline.

I used Hawaiian Air and received American Airlines FF miles....It was about $10 less than Aloha Air when I priced them in November. Karen

I always prefer Aloha. From what I understand the hawaiiian residents prefer Aloha and if it's good enough for peple, it's fine for me. As for merger talks, the talks are off since an agreement couldn't be reached in the alotted time.

Yes Linda but if you inquire about coupons you will not see a price difference. What they offer over the phone or online frequently is different than the coupon rate. I have a friend who's family goes back 4 generations on Oahu she likes HA. So it really is a toss up Frank.

What are normal rates for a r/t flight between maui and kawaii, w/ a sat stay? Also, could someone explain the deal with w/ these couupons?
