Can anyone tell me anything about Alligator Point. We are looking to spend 2 weeks there.

Alligator Point is south of Tallahasse on the Gulf. It used to have fabulous dunes but I haven't been there in years. I have a great memory of a girl and a leopard skin bikini and getting stuck in the sand!

It has been years since I went, but I do not remember it as a pretty beach place. Small area (on the bay?) very grassy. We used to go over there from FSU to get sun.

St George Island isn't too far--very nice there (beaches)

I think if you enjoy fishing and boating you might enjoy Alligator Pt.
