Check out Corkscrew Swamp, near Naples. It has a wonderful boardwalk for viewing birds. Members of the Audubon Society provide help in spotting them. This is truly a great place.
Also, be on the alert for birds in trees. On one trip we witnessed dozens (maybe a hundred) pelicans perched in one tree!
