Thanks for the info!

A very brief update!
The boys decided to stay a little longer on Cape Cod and hang out with their friends so there won't be an overnight in NYC after all. At least not this time....
James will take the Bolt bus from Boston tomorrow and after a couple of hours in Manhattan has to head to JFK for his overnight flight home.

Thanks again to those that provided information...hopefully it'll help others.

This was an interesting collection of info. I was thinking it would make a nice little book series..."At Night in New York", or Boston, or Bangkok. Of course, only certain cities have enough night life to be worth mentioning!

Bring an umbrella. This is ridiculous.

Centralparkgirl Jun 18th, 2009 03:26 PM

This was a nice thread. I'm actually disappointed that they're not coming!

lcuy Jun 18th, 2009 03:50 PM

mp- did you post on the wrong thread? Or please explain what is ridiculous?

Centralparkgirl Jun 18th, 2009 04:14 PM

Icuy - maybe the unending rain in NY - well, we had one good day yesterday.

mp Jun 19th, 2009 07:48 AM

Yes, rain rain rain. I just feel sorry for the visitors here for a few days - it's been lousy weather for what feels like three weeks . . . and tomorrow (Saturday looks like .. .more rain. sigh.

Well it's raining in Boston too and I saw lots of bedraggled tourists with plastic ponchos on the Duck tour!
I'm disappointed the boys didn't make it to NYC too but we still intend to visit sometime this summer and will make use of some of the information.
