All inclusives in Hawaii?
 

We have recently become great fans of the all-inclusive vacation. Does this exist anywhere in Hawaii? Thanks for your responses.

You may want to check the Kona Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is one perhaps the only full inclusive in Hawaii.

kona village is actually full american plan, which means 3 meals a day and activities, not alcohol or soft drinks, even at meals. but the costs for those drinks are pretty reasonable. but it is an amazing resort, very very relaxing, great food, just a place to totally lose your sense of the "real" world. <BR>check out their web site konavillage.com

DEBBIE: YOU ARE PROBABLY USE TO ALL INCLUSIVE IN THE CARIBBEAN. HAWAII IS DIFFERENT. SOME HOTEL E.G. ROYAL LAHAINA IN MAUI, WILL OFFER A MEAL PLAN OR THE KONA VILLAGE, WITH INCLUDES MEALS, BUT THERE ARE NO ALL INCLUSIVE IN HAWAII. REASON FOR THIS, TOO MANY PLACES TO EAT/DRINK. ALL INCLUSIVES TEND TO BE ONLY AVAILABLE WHEN YOU ARE STAYING AT A HOTEL, THAT IS ISOLATED. HAWAII CAN BE PRETTY REASONABLE. E.G. EARLY BIRD SPECIALS, PICKUP THE DISCOUNT BOOKLETS THAT ARE AVAILABLE ON EVERY STREET CORNER IN HAWAII. TONI

Debbie, <BR>We are frequent visitors to Hawaii (Maui) and I cannot imagine anyone wanting an all inclusive hotel there, the variety of places to eat is tremendous (throughout the islands actually) so why limit yourself to just your hotel? Prices range from inexpensive to quite expensive so there is always something to be found in all prices ranges. Many places over early bird specials for dinner and many others also have 2 for 1 coupons, etc. When you arrive at any airport in Hawaii just collect a bunch of brochures readily available down by the luggage areas. They will be loaded with coupons for everything from food to sightseeing.
