Alisal Ranch, Solvang
 

Looking to celebrate our son's 40th birthday in May. There will be 6 adults and a 2 and 8 year old. I figured it could be easy for us to get away for 3 days since we live in California. I was reading some reviews that every little thing is an xtra. I loved the idea of having us all together and having different options of activities. Is this place truly worth it? I can't think of any other place so convenient for the few days we can get away.

Where are you coming from & how far are you willing to go? Maybe people here will have other suggestions.

The farthest couple will be coming from Orange County and the other from Studio City. We are much closer to Solvang since we are coming from Santa Clarita.
