Alexa Hotel in NOLA?

Has anybody stayed at this place? It seems to be fairly new and I can't find any reviews of it. I was all set to book the Iberville Suites, but the prices at the Alexa are much better. Any comments? By the way, I've had no luck bidding on Priceline.

I was considering this hotel as one of my 3 picks, but when I went to their website the rooms looked ridiculously small. Anybody care to comment?

I've been going to NO for over 40 years and have never heard of the Alexa Hotel. I'm not sure if that's bad or good! I did a search of this board and found one person who'd loved it, but I think I'd try and find something with a stronger reputation. The Iberville Suites has gotten very positive reviews and they've been running a $99 special for quite some time.

Thanks for the feedback. Susan, where did you find the Iberville Suites for $99? We'll be there on a Saturday thru Tues. in November. I found it for $159 (Sat), $109(Sun & Mon). Please let me know your secret. Have still not been able to find out much about the Alexa, but I know that it's fairly new.

The $99 rates at the Iberville Suites seem to come and go. It's altogether possible that since you'll be there during a very popular time of year that it'll be unavailable. I do think it'd be worth a call to the hotel, though, as the best rates aren't always found online.
