ALCS Sunday Night

I am flying into Boston on Sunday afternoon for a business meeting monday morning. How far is the Wyndham downtown from Fenway? Thinking of going by even without a ticket. Whats the deal with scalpers near the park? Any good sports bars either by the wyndham or my hotel to catch the game with some real fans?

You plan on brining your fist born as payment for a scalped ticket to a Yankee-Red Sox playoff game in a stadium that seats 37,000.

Actually I could be in worst places on business Sunday.

No advice from me, except that anywhere (i.e. bar with a TV) in Boston on Sunday will be fun!

For a real experience, go down to the park and watch the game in one of the bars down there, either Jillian's, Cask n' Flagon or Boston Beerworks.

What I meant to say is any good sports bars next to fenway?

Jillians
Cask and Flagon
Boston Beer Works
Baseball Tavern (where members of the Red Sox showed up spontaneously after clinching the Wild Card to celebrate with fans - how cool is that!)

Anywhere near Kenmore Square will be hopping. Also check out Boyleston St bars.

For that matter the entire city will be crazed.

Is "Who's on first" still open? or did that close when they closed Yawkey way.

Near your hotel... the Faneuil Hall area is a couple of blocks away. The Rack (a bar where lots of athletes hang out) should be broadcasting the game.
