Now go play in traffic.<BR><BR>To Meg and the normal people on this board, I found the trip to Alcatraz to be a nice diversion from the rest of SF. As other posters have pointed out, it's a lovely boat ride which gives you a great view, and an interesting tour and lecture of the history. They also have an interesting segment that's a bit of a surprise (so I won't give it away).<BR><BR>But the main thing is that,like everything else, some people will like it more than others. It's probably not for everyone, but there are very few attractions that are. If you have the time, I do think it's worth going.
