G: <BR> <BR>Lot's of great advice handed out previously. The only thing I didn't see was something my wife & I did in October--beginning at Taos there is a drive that I believe is called the enchanted loop (or circle). You go North and then circle around clockwise to arrive back at Taos. You go through beautiful alpine scenery at an elevation reaching about 12,000 ft and pass through Red River. In the Fall, this was awesome, not sure about early Spring, but maybe worth asking someone in Taos about it. As I recall it took about 4 or 5 hours. <BR> <BR>Also, in Taos is an unassuming restaurant called Roberto's that had the best chile rellenos I've ever had. <BR> <BR>Lastly, several posters suggested Bandolier National Monument--I couldn't agree more, as it was one of the best sites we visited. <BR> <BR>Have a great time!
